Summer studies description

  • Women's precept study on esther

What is your purpose? God is always working in the affairs of His creation, even when we are unaware. This intensive inductive Bible study shows us how Esther attained royalty to fulfill God's purpose in her life and the lives of His people. Can God use you "for such a time as this"?

  • journey evangelism training

The Journey is a four-week curriculum intended to help motivate and equip Christians in sharing their faith with those who are unfamiliar or unclear about the Gospel.   In this study, participants are not only asked to study and identify some of the motivations and fears in sharing the Gospel with others, but also encouraged to challenge those fears through practical evangelism exercises and field interviews.

  • communicants class

This class is for children preparing to take Communion.

  • introduction to christianity

Named a "Book of the Century" by Christianity Today "If Jesus was not God in human flesh, Christianity is exploded," writes John Stott. "We are left with just another religion with some beautiful ideas and noble ethics; its unique distinction has gone." Who is Jesus Christ? If he is not who he said he was, and if he did not do what he said he had come to do, the whole superstructure of Christianity crumbles in ruin. Is it plausible that Jesus was truly divine? And what would that mean for us? John Stott's clear, classic book, now updated, examines the historical facts on which Christianity stands. Here is a sound, sensible guide for all who seek an intellectually satisfying explanation of the Christian faith.

  • gospel centered parenting

What is your calling as a parent? In the midst of folding laundry, coordinating carpool schedules, and breaking up fights, many parents get lost. Feeling pressure to do everything "right" and raise up "good" children, it's easy to lose sight of our ultimate purpose as parents. In this life-giving book, Paul Tripp presents us with a big-picture view of God's plan for us as parents. Outlining fourteen foundational principles centered on the gospel, he shows that we need more than the latest parenting strategy or list of techniques. Rather, we need the rescuing grace of God--grace that has the power to shape how we view everything we do as parents.

  • theology 301

What does the whole Bible say about Creation?  What does the whole Bible say about the church?  What does the whole Bible say about Free Will and Predestination?  This class will study the Westminster Confession of faith, which is a systematic (topical) study of the Bible.
