Passionate about serving others, Abigail has spent several years serving overseas in cross-cultural settings. She excels in creating efficient systems and processes in order to improve the quality of life of everyone around her. During this season of life as she raises her children near family, she is using her administrative skills to benefit her local church and develop systems that allow the Counseling Center staff to function well as a unit and more effectively work with their clients.
Abigail and her husband Kegan met while serving in their overseas organization. After COVID they moved to Wisconsin where they finished their degrees. Abigail and Kegan love hosting dinners in their home, playing games, and developing friendships. They have one child and are expecting an addition to join their family soon!
What do you do in your free time?
- I love to cook and try different foods. I feel most comfortable with Southeast Asian cuisine, but love experimenting with different recipes. I don't have much patience for baking but love watching The Great British Baking Show.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
- This changes for me quite often, but in this season of life with young kids – “I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water” Isaiah 41:18. The depth of this verse comes from its context, and I’d love to share how God has miraculously refreshed me in impossible seasons.
If you could meet anyone in history who would it be?
- C.S. Lewis- his writings and summations of Christian apologetics have impacted my life profoundly.
