BRUCE ROBERTSON

CoNtract Psychologist

Bruce received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he double majored in Psychology and Social Work. He received his Master's and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Florida State University and did his residency/internship at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Bruce has been in private practice for over 25 years and has supervised and directed programs at both the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and St. Norbert College. He uses a family systems, cognitive behavioral, and interpersonal approach in addressing the concerns of children, adolescents, adults, and couples. He is certified in EMDR and uses this to assist individuals who are dealing with trauma. Focusing on the feelings, beliefs and behaviors, Bruce sees relationships as central to all we experience whether that is with family, friends or God.

About BRUCE

Bruce was born and raised in De Pere, Wisconsin and after going away to complete his education, he returned to Wisconsin and now lives in Green Bay. Bruce is married to his wife Barbara and together they have adult twins, Sam and Janny.

What do you do in your free time?

  • I enjoy home repair, working out in the yard, gardening, reading, and traveling. Ask me about sourdough, wedding cakes, and pie contests.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

  • James 1:2-4 "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."

If you could meet anyone in history who would it be?

  • C. S. Lewis. He was an intellectual who openly asked questions and when he found the truth he shared it and changed lives. His work has influenced children, scientists, philosophers and theologians. In the midst of the struggles of life he found joy
