Since the word deacon means "servant" or "waiter" our deacons serve other's needs, primarily in tangible ways like caring for them, feeding them, providing transportation, or paying housing related expenses. In doing so we also speak of Jesus' love and the gospel, so most importantly they can know salvation.

Within the church we have an active Mercy Team and many volunteers in Care Ministries that support all this.
