TIM BRABENDER
Ruling Elder
As an ordained Ruling Elder of Jacob's Well Tim is responsible for the health and well-being of the church and its members. This includes: leading a men's bible study, being in church policy discussions, financial decisions, hospital visits, regular prayer for church members and general oversight of small groups and church members.
About TIM
Tim has been happily married to Karen for 41 years, and has been attending Jacob’s Well since 2022. He has been serving as a Ruling Elder since March 2025. He also leads a men’s Bible study on Monday nights, and is part of the worship team.
Tim has lived in Peshtigo all his life, and has a daughter Allison, her husband Jason, and a grandson Jameson. He is retired after working 26 years at Badger Paper, and 15 years at St. Vincent Hospital.

What do you do in your free time?
- I enjoy reading (especially history), watching old westerns, and enjoying my mornings with Karen, having coffee on the porch.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
- Romans 12:2. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that by testing you may discern what the will of God what is good and acceptable and perfect.
If you could meet anyone in history who would it be?
- R.C. Sproul or John Calvin
