  • SPIRITUAL DEPRESSION

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me?" A depressed Christian should be an oxymoron, yet it is very real. Most Christians will experience 'spiritual depression' at some point in their life. The prophets ranging from Abraham, Moses, Elijah, David, and Jeremiah, all experienced struggles with doubts, fears, and unbelief. It is the church's job to come alongside those who are struggling, and this is a priority at Jacob's Well. This book addresses 'Spiritual Depression' by diagnosing individual struggles, giving a prognosis and using the Bible's remedies for treatment. Leaders: Steven Burton & Tim Gremore. Book Cost: $18 (Spiritual Depression by Martin Lloyd-Jones)

  • JOURNEY EVANGELISM

Are you scared to do evangelism? Do you feel unequipped?  Do you fear rejection?  Do you feel guilty? If evangelism is hard for you but you long for family members, loved ones, friends and acquaintances to know the joy of salvation in Christ, this class is for you!  For those entering 10th grade and older. Leaders: Pastor Dan & Tricia Jackson. No Cost.

  • THE LEADER'S JOURNEY

When anxiety arises, our natural tendency is to do all we can to change our surroundings. This book study will provide a blueprint and practical tools to focus on transforming the self rather than others and to learn to think differently about how people in living systems affect each other. While written for leaders, it offers significant impact in all lives as all lead in some fashion and as it examines the life of Jesus and His ability to know and do the right thing while facing enormous pressure. Leader: Pastor David. Book Cost: $15 (The Leader’s Journey by Jim Herrington)

  • THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

What they mean, why they matter, and why we should obey them. Do they still apply? Which ones? What do they mean in light of God’s mercy revealed in Jesus? Leader: Ted Kemen & Allison Tuttle. Book Cost: $18 (The Ten Commandments by Kevin DeYoung)

  • WOMEN'S STUDY

Join us as we study Ruth to examine her journey from devastating loss to redeeming love and playing a key role in a divine legacy. Through this study Ruth can teach us to trust God’s providence, even when our circumstances seem insurmountable. We will see how God proves Himself faithful to Ruth and to us-His children! Women of all ages will benefit from the jewels hidden in Ruth to spur us in our love for God and for each other. Leader: Anna Horvat. Book Cost: $22 (Ruth: Loss,, Love & Legacy by Kelly Minter)

  • kids study

“Who am I?” is a question that many kids are being challenged to answer. To answer this question, we must first ask “Who does God say I am?” Beginning in Genesis, the Bible tells us that we are each made in God’s image, but that image has become distorted by sin. The only way to restore what was broken is through a relationship with Jesus. Through Defined: Who God Says I Am, kids will discover who God created them to be and what is true about their identity because of their relationship with Jesus. Leader: Jenna Baum. Optional Activity Book: $7.

  • middle school book study

Ephesians: a world that is afraid to disagree with each other can leave us feeling as though unity is overrated. But in a world that seems to be fairly divided, we have unity in Christ. Join us as we study how this fellowship with God can reshape our unity with His church and how we go into a disunified world. No Cost. Leader: TBD

  • high school book study

Hebrews: The Bible is, in a way, complex and simple. We are given what we need in order to understand salvation, and there is so much information and interconnecting points that not even the greatest scholars can fully understand it on earth. This interesting book connects how the Old Testament relates to the coming of Jesus, and how He is the fulfillment of the threefold office of Prophet, Priest, and King. No cost. Leader: Jack Rymer.
